<p>Our client, an international financial services company, is looking for a Financials Systems Analyst to assist with a major Transformation project to implement a suite of world class Financial Applications.  The PeopleSoft Financials Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in the design and conversion processes critical to strategic system migration and overall project acceptance.  The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the strategic release of PeopleSoft General Ledger, will provide valuable input into latter release of numerous PeopleSoft Sub Ledgers whilst simultaneously effecting Knowledge Transfer throughout the business in line with the overall Application Support model.</p>
<p><strong>Main responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Work in conjunction with the Head of Finance Systems to help implement new financial systems;</li>
<li>Assist with Data Governance;</li>

<p>Our client, an international financial services firm, is looking for a The Sanctions Director ideally with legal a background who will be responsible for the Sanctions team and will report to the Director of Financial Crime.  The Sanctions Director’s primary responsibility is to manage the Sanctions team and provide advice and practical assistance to UK and International business divisions in respect of sanctions.  The Sanctions Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing internal compliance policies and procedures.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Be part of the Group Compliance team which has responsibility for UK business units and International offices;</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide advice and guidance to the business units on the implementation and interpretation of the Group Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policies;</li>
<li>Responsible for reporting and liaising with regulators with respect to Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policies along with the Director of Financial Crime;</li>
<li>Deliver Sanctions training to all relevant business units along with the Director of Financial Crime;  Develop Sanctions training materials.</li>
<li>Understand the requirements of the Financial Services Authority and other regulators where they have offices worldwide;</li>
<li>Identify and apply the laws and regulations applicable to the business units operating in the UK and International business arena and in providing cross-border services;</li>
<li>Supervise negotiation and maintenance of accurate records of terms of business agreements held with insurance markets.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience Required</strong></p>
<p>         Legal training preferred</p>
<p>         You will have good experience and strong working knowledge of Anti-money Laundering and Financial Crime including</p>
<p>         Thorough understanding of and experience with OFAC</p>
<p>         Compliance experience gained in a general insurance broker or insurer or relevant experience in underwriting or claims or another FSA regulated sector</p>
<p>         Preferably (though not essential) have a law degree or equivalent.</p>
<p>         Knowledge of other regulatory regimes.</p>

The Senior Electronics Design Engineer is to support parts of the design of a new range of HMI products  These will be developed in accordance with the DMEDI.  This involves the Design of New Products, direct liaison with the Certification Bodies and full release and transfer of products into manufacturing.

Strive to maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques and methods.
·	Ensure the adoption of "Best practice" engineering to solving the design and manufacturing challenges commensurate with time and cost targets.
·	Take a pro-active approach to the profitable application of technology to the market through innovative design and ideas on products.
·	Exercise commercial awareness in its broadest sense encompassing supplier and product manufacturing issues.
·	Take a pro-active approach to technical leadership within the project team.
·	To ensure that the "Design for Market" procedures are followed in full. In particular:
·	To take ownership of any sub-projects allocated by the project manager until the design has been fully signed off by manufacturing i.e. To ensure that the "Monitor early manufacture" process is followed correctly.
·	To ensure that all design documentation defined in DEMEDI is kept up to date and are completed within the project plan schedule.
·	To ensure that information and data required for instruction manuals etc. to enable the product to address the market are made available as required.

Experience:
·You will have ideally 5 years or more relevant product design experience with at least 2 years in HMI developments.
·Experience in appliance design in accordance with the EMC standards for Industrial Locations
·Ability to work independently and efficiently, a high level of motivation, flexibility and team spirit.
·Understanding of working in Project environments
·Flexible to Travel, eligible to work in EU  ( a.e. can travel to Germany without visa)
·Bachelor's Degree or higher in electronics Engineering

<pre>Responsible:
Provide IT technical analysis and support for production network services.
Liaison between the project manager’s, developers, infrastructure technicians and service delivery team in support of infrastructure issues and new projects.

Assist Global Network Director in developing network strategy

Experience and Required Skills:

You will ideally have 6 years of network integration experience.

<p>Scientific Programmer &#8211; Biotech Software Development</p>
<p>Design and Implementation of Analysis Pipelines, tools and curation interfaces. The Scientific Programmer will implement the pipelines, tools and scripts that will be crucial to the genome analysis team generating high quality annotation. This will require development of novel tools/pipelines in addition to integrating existing tools such as annotation editors like Artemis, Apollo, Manatee into an annotation workflow. The scientific programmer will design custom scripts for quality checking and project specific analysis tasks. The jobholder will provide technical knowledge to the computer biologists and work closely with them on the design of novel curation interfaces.</p>
<p>Familiar with data structures, object-oriented programming, software design and computer hardware organisation<br />
Experience with relational databases and database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle or MySQL<br />
Familiarity with strategies and statistical methods to analyse large datasets. The jobholder will have experience with statistical packages such as R<br />
Experience with Unix.<br />
Understanding of the notions underlying bioinformatics algorithms such as alignments, assemblies and genome annotation.<br />
Experience with low-level programming languages e.g. C/C++, Fortran.</p>
<p>MSc degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or similar<br />
Background in scientific programming<br />
PhD or equivalent experience<br />
Experience in statistical analysis<br />
Experience with next generation sequencing technologies<br />
Salary £25-35K<br />
Cambridge / Norwich</p>

<p>My client are currently looking to recruit for three Senior Protein Scientist roles. As a broad overview my client would be very interested in candidates with experience of Protein and Antibody techniques also experience with the following techniques would be very useful:</p>
<p>ELISA<br />
GEL ELECTROPHORESIS<br />
WESTERN BLOTTING<br />
LOW PRESSURE CHROMATOGRAPHY<br />
DIALYSIS<br />
PROTEIN ASSAYS</p>
<p>For each of the roles my client is recruiting for they require different specialist skill sets, if you have experience in a few of these areas and would like a move into a company that is really going places then I&#8217;d like to hear from you.</p>
