Our client, an international financial services company, is looking for a Financials Systems Analyst to assist with a major Transformation project to implement a suite of world class Financial Applications.  The PeopleSoft Financials Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in the design and conversion processes critical to strategic system migration and overall project acceptance.  The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the strategic release of PeopleSoft General Ledger, will provide valuable input into latter release of numerous PeopleSoft Sub Ledgers whilst simultaneously effecting Knowledge Transfer throughout the business in line with the overall Application Support model.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with the Head of Finance Systems to help implement new financial systems;
  • Assist with Data Governance;
  • Identify and provide training on new financial systems when and where appropriate;
  • Effect Knowledge Transfer and Lead and / or participate in ad hoc projects

Experience and Skills:

 

  • You will be an expert user of PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 (General Ledger and Sub Ledgers);
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel (2003, 2007, 2010);
  • Knowledge of SQL (Oracle 11g), nVision & Crystal Reports highly advantageous;
  • Experience of working on large implementation projects advantageous;
  • Strong accounting knowledge;
  • Commitment to following best practice;
  • Flexible and hard working;
  • Good project management skills;

12 Month Contract

Our client is undertaking a major Transformation project to implement a suite of world class Financial Applications.  The Hyperion Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in the design and conversion processes critical to strategic system migration and overall project acceptance.  The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the strategic release of Hyperion Financial Management, will provide valuable input into latter release of Hyperion Planning Plus whilst simultaneously effecting Knowledge Transfer throughout the business in line with the Application Support model.

The purpose of this role is to work in conjunction with the Head of Finance Systems to help implement new financial systems.

  • Assist with Data Governance.
  • Identify and provide training on new financial systems.
  • Effect Knowledge Transfer within Willis in line with overall Support model.

Experience and Skills:

  • You will be an expert user of Hyperion Financial Management 11.1.2;
  • Expert use of Hyperion Planning Plus 11.1.2;
  • Expert user of Microsoft Excel (2003, 2007, 2010);
  • Experience of working on large implementation projects advantageous;
  • Visual Basic knowledge advantageous;
  • Strong accounting technical knowledge and ability to interpret technical guidance in a practical and commercial way (ideally Fully Qualified);

Sanctions Director Compliance Group London

Our client, an international financial services firm, is looking for a The Sanctions Director ideally with legal a background who will be responsible for the Sanctions team and will report to the Director of Financial Crime.  The Sanctions Director’s primary responsibility is to manage the Sanctions team and provide advice and practical assistance to UK and International business divisions in respect of sanctions.  The Sanctions Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing internal compliance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Be part of the Group Compliance team which has responsibility for UK business units and International offices;

  • Provide advice and guidance to the business units on the implementation and interpretation of the Group Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policies;
  • Responsible for reporting and liaising with regulators with respect to Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policies along with the Director of Financial Crime;
  • Deliver Sanctions training to all relevant business units along with the Director of Financial Crime;  Develop Sanctions training materials.
  • Understand the requirements of the Financial Services Authority and other regulators where they have offices worldwide;
  • Identify and apply the laws and regulations applicable to the business units operating in the UK and International business arena and in providing cross-border services;
  • Supervise negotiation and maintenance of accurate records of terms of business agreements held with insurance markets.

Experience Required

Ÿ         Legal training preferred

Ÿ         You will have good experience and strong working knowledge of Anti-money Laundering and Financial Crime including

Ÿ         Thorough understanding of and experience with OFAC

Ÿ         Compliance experience gained in a general insurance broker or insurer or relevant experience in underwriting or claims or another FSA regulated sector

Ÿ         Preferably (though not essential) have a law degree or equivalent.

Ÿ         Knowledge of other regulatory regimes.
