Telecommunications IP Deployment Project Engineer

IP Telecommunications Deployment Project Manager We are looking for a Telecoms / IP Deployment Project Manager for the London / South East to work for a leading European provider of broadband Internet IP, 802.11x, LAN services to large organisations. Your role will be to work with clients and establish their Internet communications requirements, provides recommendations, submit plans, project costing and negotiate contracts. You will have responsibility for managing projects along with the support of the UK team. Experience: ·We are looking for IP / Telecommunications Engineer or Telecoms Deployment Manager with 3-10 year's experience and good customer relation's exp. ·You will have good knowledge of some of the following: IP, 802.11x, LAN, WiFi, WLAN, Local and Wide Area Networks, ADSL and Wireless / RF ·You have proven project management skills and customer orientation ·IT / Telecommunication Deployment Manager experience would be ideal. ·Bonus: Sales, Development or IT exp. This role covers London and the South East but you must be prepared and able to travel nationally and internationally. Good package and salary based on experience.

IP Technical Sales Engineer

IP Telecommunication or Datacom Sales Engineer required.
Our client, a leading VoIP telecommunications company is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to assess, understand (from a technical point of view) the customer requirements, match it to a product and work with development engineers to prepare and conduct the trials and support field activities. The focus is on the technical aspect. You will representing the company and its products in the UK and Europe.

Essential knowledge & experience:
- IP data literacy including data CPE configuration, data networking, relevant protocols, DSL services, PPPoe, PPPoa, RFC1483, network bandwidths, security
- Customer-facing experience including technical installations, trials and demonstrations in the Telecoms or Datacomms industries
- Exp with a DSL / VoIP CPE manufacturer or DSL service provider.
- Logical and physical characteristics of access protocols with telecoms CPE (including POTS, Primary rate ISDN, Basic rate ISDN)

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, keen to travel, flexible and committed attitude and keen and quick to learn new technologies

Non-essential experience sought:
- Working Knowledge of Voice Protocols SIP, MGCP and related QoS, product manufacturing and test environment, Voice over ATM including gateway topology and related protocols.

Salary £30 - 40,000 plus £5-7.5k commission
- Location: Surrey, UK
- The role will include travel in the UK and overseas.

Sales Engineer – Network, Software, IP or Telecommunications industry.

Our client is looking for a Senior Sales / System Engineer with 5 years sales exp. in software, OSS and networking and telecommunications industry. The clientis a leading software supplier focused on providing solutions to telecom and data network service providers. You will me responsible for technical sales support and team leading a sales team, analysis of customer needs and propose solutions, Assisting Account Managers by providing ongoing technical account management services and manage customer lab trials and evaluations, including installation, configuration, test execution, support, and project management.

Experience
• You will have a minimum 5 years experience in a Sales Engineering, System Engineering, or Technical Account Management within the network / software / OSS or telecommunications industry.
• Experience with technical sales into Tier 1/Tier 2 Service Providers
• Good working knowledge of network management, element management, OSS systems, optical networking equipment and management systems
• Experience with deployment and/or support of telecommunications software systems
• Good working knowledge of Internet Protocol (IP) networking would be an asset
• Experience with Voice Switching (Nortel/Lucent) and/or Wireless networking equipment would be an asset
Remote office working with up to 50% travel
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering
• A business degree would be a strong asset.
The right candidate can work from home with meetings in the UK office.
